What you will do:

  • Drive execution: Help execute the strategic environmental, health, and safety programs across global operations.

  • Change Agent: Act as a change agent to promote a culture of Zero harm (Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Sustainability

  • Lead initiatives: Mitigate risks and improve EHS performance across all sites.

 

How you will do it:

  • Drive Improvement: Act as a change agent to improve environmental and safety performance, ensuring strategies are implemented and tracked. 

  • Data Management: Identify new data-driven initiatives, tools and solutions to continuously improve EHS performance.

  • Be a Resource: Act as lead system administrator for the enterprise EHS platform (EHSIS) and lead the internal EHSIS team.

  • Lead: Lead ad-hoc cross-functional workgroups to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

  • Achieve KPIs: Meet EHS KPIs aligned with global and functional strategy. 

  • Policy Development: Be part of developing safety/environmental policies and procedures. 

  • Training Programs: Lead programs to train managers and employees in EHS practices. 

  • Audits: Lead and participate in EHS audits and risk assessments. 

  • Management Systems: Support the development and maintenance of the enterprise EHS management system, compliant with global EHS trends including ISO, industry standards, regulations.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and standards globally.

What we look for:

 Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, Safety, or related field. 

  • 5+ years of EHS and leadership experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of relevant regulations. 

  • Proven EHS management experience over multiple sites. 

  • Experience with regional environmental policies and regulatory agency interactions. 

  • Strong leadership, presentation, training, organization, and planning skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, TEAMS, PowerPoint) and EHS software (ideally ProcessMAP / Ideagen EHS). 

  • Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and corrective actions. 

  • Ability to work independently and as a team facilitator, providing hands-on training and coaching. 

  • Success in managing systems and processes, being action-oriented and energetic. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other management systems.

  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards in at least one country.

  • Strong interest in IT, with experience with creating and maintaining digital tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI, EHS platform, training creation, ...)

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence across cultures and geographies.

  • Strong communication skills for presenting analysis, updates, and recommendations. 

  • Ability to guide and influence others, providing comprehensive feedback. 

  • Adaptability to changing priorities and handling multiple projects. 

  • 20% travel

Preferred

  • EHS certification (ASP, CSP, PE, CHMM). 

  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodology. 

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $125,500 - $168,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
