Global Process Owner Procurement (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Support and communication of central purchasing processes; further development of a global procurement organization; training and support for Procurement Operators and Commodity Buyers

  • SAP S/4 Expertise: Active participation in SAP rollouts and continuous improvements in close collaboration with IT and other Global Process Owners

  • Process Ownership: Further development and documentation of processes – from “as-is” to “to-be” – with a strong focus on the SAP MM/IM module

  • Testing: Creation, execution, and documentation of template processes, change requests, and SAP S/4 rollout activities

  • Training: Knowledge transfer to local teams through training sessions and close cooperation with key users and project teams

  • Implementation: Ensure system readiness prior to go-live, support during the hypercare phase, and provide guidance during international rollouts

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Production, and IT – both in day-to-day operations and in strategic projects

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Procurement or Supply Chain Management

  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience in Procurement – ideally in an international, manufacturing environment

  • SAP Knowledge: In-depth expertise in SAP MM/IM and related modules (e.g. SD, CS, PP), ideally gained as a key user or process expert

  • Languages: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the ACEMEA region

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of supplier management, P2P processes, process and project management, as well as excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Working Style: Analytical, structured, and hands-on – with a solid understanding of project and change management
