Main Responsibilities

 

  • Be medical representative as needed at GBT level to orient the strategy and to present and discuss the corresponding medical tactics and activities.

  • Participate in workstreams needed to design medical programs aligned with the Frexalimab strategy at the GBT level.

  • Participate and contribute to the Global Medical Affairs Strategic Plans for Frexalimab in line with key Strategic Imperatives.

  • Work together with Scientific Communications to create materials needed for external medical engagement and to organize and deliver medical training as needed.

  • Drive medical events and medical activities included in the Global Medical Affairs Frexalimab Plan according to budget and timelines. This includes Global AdBoards and other types of meetings with experts requiring strong collaboration with internal stakeholders including Events team, Legal, Compliance and Procurement.

  • Work with supporting functions within the global medical affairs neurology team to assure the execution of medical tactics.

  • Execute on the evidence generation tactics included in the IEGP in a timely manner and within budget.

  • Lead strategically assigned projects to evolve the current science, clinical practice and understanding about Frexalimab.  

  • Ensure strong KOL networking and involvement in all the key medical activities.

  • Ensure cross functional collaboration with commercial, review Matrix/Data vision materials as well as Veeva/PromoMats review requests.

  • Supports training and communication strategy regarding data generation and dissemination in collaboration with Scientific Communication team, other internal stakeholders such as R&D, Pharmacovigilance, contributors, and vendors/agencies.

  • Contribute to the annual and long-term Congresses strategy elaborated with scientific Communication team.

  • Interact on a regular basis with local medical teams starting with key countries, to ensure alignment regarding tactical implementation and to get back local medical insights. This through regular Glocal medical meetings and touch points with local medical heads of pre-specified countries, generation of written communications such as scheduled emails, newsletters, etc.

  • Contribute to and participate in Medical activities at Franchise level, mainly Global Medical Forums, Symposia and annual Global Franchise AdBoards, and innovative projects.

  • Ensure medical support to R&D, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory activities including risk management and health authority interaction.

 

About You

Experience

  • Deep expertise in Immunology/Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in relevant Medical Affairs, research or clinical background

  • Demonstrated industry experience working in strategic roles from (global)medical affairs or clinical development related areas including scientific KOL engagement, scientific communication and strategic planning

  • Experience in life cycle management and product strategy development, preferably across different phases of product maternity

  • Robust knowledge of regulatory, market access and reimbursement.

  • Demonstrated specialty care product medial management experience at a country level, strongly preferred.

  • Significant transversal collaboration with key functions such as Research, Clinical Development, Commercial, Health Economics, Value and Access, Patient Advocacy and Product Management functions.

  • Strategic Mindset, ability to synthesize complex scientific insights and translate into cohesive long-term strategy, while balancing scientific rigor with business objectives

  • Result orientation: ability to develop and execute optimal strategy meeting corporate objectives, while creating pragmatic solutions. Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to adapt with agility, take calculated risks and anticipate potential issues.

  • Relationships and Influence: Effective stakeholder management, and role model for collaboration and teamwork. Strong scientific communication skills.

  • Highest ethical, regulatory and scientific standards

 

Technical skills

  • Education: Doctorate in relevant scientific discipline – immunology/neurology– Medical Degree and medical practice experience are preferred.

  • Languages: Fluent in English,

The salary range for this position is:

$172,500.00 - $249,166.66
