Össur is seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Marketing Manager to join our Global B2B Marketing team within the Prosthetics organization. Your Role
As Global Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in defining and executing the long-term strategy for Össur’s prosthetic portfolio. You’ll work closely with global and local stakeholders to manage products throughout their lifecycle, with a strong focus on Central European markets, Germany being your primary area of responsibility.
You will lead the local Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for global initiatives, gather insights from key customers and stakeholders, and ensure successful local execution. Additionally, you’ll take ownership of a specific product area, contributing to early-stage product development and driving strategic initiatives alongside fellow Global Marketing Managers.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Centricity
Gather and analyze local market intelligence, including structure, trends, needs, and dynamics
Monitor competitors and develop positioning strategies and USPs to support sales teams and inform product development
Identify key customer needs across products, solutions, and services
Organize feedback loops with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and build external advisory groups for product input
Go-To-Market Strategy
Lead local GTM efforts and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders
Drive regional product and pricing initiatives aligned with global strategy
Develop detailed GTM plans for product launches in Central European markets
Collaborate with Össur Academy to support market execution
Implement launches with targeted customer engagement to drive adoption and gather scalable feedback
Product Lifecycle Marketing
Maximize post-launch performance and respond to local market dynamics to stay ahead of competition
Define strategic focus areas within the mature portfolio and execute initiatives to drive growth
Collect and analyze market data to inform the product development roadmap
Who are you
You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset, capable of navigating complex structures and driving initiatives forward. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering customer-centric solutions.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Marketing, GTM Management, or Marketing Management
Experience in the prosthetic or medical device industry is a strong advantage
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German
Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and prioritization
Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong relationships
A structured yet entrepreneurial approach with a proactive attitude
Willingness to travel up to 15%
