What you'll be doing in your new role:

  • Posting of bank transactions related to suspense accounts clearing.

  • Reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts.

  • Perform intercompany accounting activities including GL reconciliations, payment proposals and invoice settlement.

  • Accounting for fixed assets including asset additions, asset movement, running depreciation or reconciliation.

  • Manage resolution of accounting and reporting issues.

  • Build and maintain business partnering relations with markets. Take on pro-active position to address the potential issues. Continuously look for process improvement.

  • Ensure all controls and compliance requirements are met.

  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining the processes in the responsible area.

  • Active participation in numerous finance-related projects is considered to be part of the position.

  • GR/IR, AP and Employee T&E Payable Reconciliation.

  • GR/IR clearing and accruals posting.

  • Prepaid Amortization & Recurring Entries posting.

  • OpEx Accruals & Reversals posting.

  • Other admin/projects.

The individual:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 3+ years of experience in GL Accounting or Finance.

  • Communicative level of English.

  • Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.

  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management.

  • Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes and initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, attention to detail.

  • Experience working in a global Shared Service Center a plus.

  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
