Job Description
About the role
Brookfield is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional with accounting experience to join the Korea Fund Finance team. This position goes beyond a typical accounting role, involving a wide range of fund operations and financial reporting activities across Brookfield’s Korean Real Estate Fund Entities (REFs). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fund management, financial analysis, and investor reporting, while collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors in a dynamic, global environment.
Responsibilities:
About You
3-7 years of experience in accounting
Experience in PE real estate or fund accounting strongly preferred
Hands-on, with high standards for accuracy and quality, and thorough and meticulous with strong attention to detail
Strong understanding of IFRS and Korean GAAP principles, and solid technical financial reporting skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and focus on cross-functional communication
Ability to multitask effectively and manage time well to meet multiple reporting deadlines
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Certified Public Accountant qualification preferred
