**The selected candidate will be required to work onsite from our Vancouver, Canada office 3 days per week.**

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Software Development Engineering intern, you will be an integral part of our development team, working on real-world projects that impact our users.
You’ll collaborate with experienced developers to design, implement, and test new features, as well as help maintain and improve existing code.
This role will provide hands-on experience with our tech stack, development processes, and best practices in software engineering.
You’ll also participate in code reviews, team meetings, and learning sessions to enhance your skills and contribute to our innovative solutions.

A Day in the Life…

Attend daily stand-up meetings with the development team to discuss progress, plans, and any blockers.
Work on assigned tasks or user stories, such as implementing new features, fixing bugs, or optimizing existing code.
Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure implementation aligns with user requirements and design specifications.
Participate in code reviews and attend learning sessions or workshops to expand your knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies.
Test and debug your code to ensure it meets quality standards and performs as expected.
Update project management tools (e.g., Jira) to reflect task progress and communicate status to the team.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
Bootcamp graduates are welcome!
Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript; Python and SQL are a plus.

As a remote position, the salary range for this role is:

$25—$30 CAD

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.

Location

You must be authorized to work in the United States. Depending on the position we may have a preference to a specific location, but are generally open to remote work anywhere in the US.
