Job Details:

This position is responsible for conducting thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems. The role involves accurately documenting and calculating inspection results, taking corrective actions when necessary, and reporting findings to management. Responsibilities include alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying and segregating non-conforming products, and isolating them as needed. Additional assignments may be requested. All team members are accountable for ensuring both personal and food safety.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA-related experience required.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Special Skills:

  • Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid math and organizational skills.
  • Capability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to function well under stress.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and shifts as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • The position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more).

  • None

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 3:50 PM to 3:30 AM
