Imbue

Founding Product Manager

San Francisco, CA Full Time
About us
Imbue is a radically different AI company.

We believe that data should belong to you, humans should come before technology, and that everyone deserves to have their own personal team of AI agents. We’re building tools for you to create open agents—AI agents that you can modify to do exactly what you want.

Our first product is Sculptor, an interface for programmers to run coding agents in parallel and stay in flow. We're working to make Sculptor better and easier to use every day, with the hope of eventually making products that allow anyone to create custom agents and software (not just programmers).

We’re supported by investors like Nvidia, Simon Last (co-founder of Notion), and Eric Schmidt (former CEO of Google), with $200M raised at over $1B valuation.

If you’re excited about reimagining the future of personal computing and creating the future of AI agents, say hi!

About the role
Help us build the ultimate coding agent platform for developers.

If you're an ex-engineer who became a PM in order to work at a higher level of abstraction, this is the job for you. You will get to  design your own coding agent workflows and re-imagine how developers create software.

You will be our users’ biggest fan—the driving force behind making Sculptor indispensable to them. You will discover how people use the product, pinpointing exactly where they hit friction, and find ways to make Sculptor feel magical.

You will talk to users, become a power user yourself, and partner closely with our founders, engineers, and designers to shape features that move the needle.

We’re not just building a platform for running coding agents, we’re building to unlock the power of open agents for everyone. If this excites you, say hello!

What you'll do
Use Sculptor to design your ideal coding workflows, and drive users to do the same
Drive Sculptor’s product strategy and roadmap decisions with the founders
Partner with Engineering to design high-leverage solution features
Be deeply integrated with Sculptor users, champion their needs and pain points internally

You are
A former Engineer, ideally a full-stack developer who has previously built apps, APIs, LLM integrations and is familiar with Git, Git workflows, and DevContainer specs
Excited to craft impactful product visions and actionable roadmaps
Energized by working with users and representing their needs to internal teams
Excited to partner closely with Engineering and Marketing
