Forklift Operator II – Pallet Picker

Position Title: Forklift Operator II – Pallet Picker (Temporary 45-Day Assignment)

Shift Assignment - 2nd shift (3 pm -11 pm)

Pay Rate: $20.76, plus $1.50 differential rate.

The temporary assignment as a Forklift Operator II will be assigned with a duration of no more than 45 days, but may exceed that period. During this time, you will report to the designated shift supervisor and be responsible for performing all duties listed in the job description below. After the temporary assignment end date, employees may have the option to remain on the assigned shift or return to their previous role and shift.

The Job:  

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be part of our Fort Mill team working as an on-site employee.    You’ll get to:  

• Perform RDT (Radio Data Transmitter) and physical counts of inventory.

• Perform root cause analysis where discrepancies are detected.
• Comply with all work instructions as determined by ISO standards.
• Load and unload products from trailers
• Put away products in designated locations.
• Assist in other areas of the distribution center as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A High School diploma or equivalent is acceptable.
• General knowledge of the Distribution Center layout is preferred.
• Certification to or ability to obtain certification to drive forklifts, order pickers, and turret-powered industrial trucks.
• Proven ability to operate lifts safely.
• Strong oral and written communication skills preferred.
• RDT (Radio Data Transmitter) experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds independently.
