• Coverage of absences and open positions as requested.
• Performs daily and periodic tasks in assigned areas as directed.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Performs all cleaning assignments in accordance with C&W Services approved procedures.
• Maintains cleaning equipment in good working condition and notifies the Account Manager or Supervisor if repair or replacement is necessary.
• Maintains appropriate supply levels in assigned janitorial closets and storage areas.
• Always works safely and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions existing in the work area.
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.
• Meets all client and C&W Services quality expectations in assigned tasks.
• Assists in orientation and training for new employees as directed.
• Adheres to proper security procedures.
• Notifies management about problems or opportunities that affect service to the client.
• Washing of windowsills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
• Washing glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Collect building trash daily placing it in approved container and place in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
• Performs other cleaning-related duties as required.
• Utilization of a Kaivac machine
• Performs restroom cleaning procedures:
o Damp wipe glass surfaces
o Disinfecting all surfaces
o Empty all waster receptacles.
o Restocking of dispensers
o Dust sills, etc.
o Washing of toilets, sinks, urinals, tile walls, shelves, stall partitions
o Sweep, mopping or auto scrubbing of floors.
o Monitors defects, such as clogged urinals and lights out, and reports to the supervisor.
• Performs floor care procedures:
o Damp mop and spray buff, wash floors
o Stripping and waxing floors
• Performs periodic work:
o High dusting, leather, and wood surface (non-floor) polishing, wall washing, as assigned by the Supervisor.
o Occasional over time is mandatory to help with special projects.
