Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to support the 737 Max program onsite in Seattle, Washington on a 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift.

The successful candidate must be able to develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Ensure that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery

  • Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance

  • Develop and execute project and process plans; implement policies and procedures; set operational goals

  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Actively promotes the growth and development of employees and fosters an environment of respect and inclusion

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manage, develop, and motivate employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership role

  • Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License or the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairman's certificate

  • Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime (primarily a 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • 1+ years of experience in flight line operations

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role

  • 1+ years of experience working with Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES)

Shift:

Summary Pay Range: $141,000 - $161,000
