Job Description

The Opportunity

Provide daily customer service to the Chief and Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, Training Managers, Flight Scheduling, Instructor Pilots, various university staff and students. Effectively utilize Campus Solutions, Knowledge Lake Imaging system, IACRA, ETA flight systems and various excel data spreadsheets to accurately record, disseminate information and reports. Conduct one-on-one meetings with students and instructors for completion of FAA 8710 applications. 
Assist with onboarding students into ERAU Flight program. Collection of documents to include Current FAA medical (Class 1 or 2), TSA documentation (Current Passport or Birth certificate and Driver’s license if US citizen). 
Verification of student legal name, all course completion documents to produce FAA 8710 applications, temporary certificates, and graduation certificates. The organization of all additional course completion materials for the Chief Flight Instructor, Airman Certification Representatives, and Training Course Evaluators which includes CC form, SP detail(s), Flight Data & Certification worksheet, test grades, FAA Written tests, medical certificate, superseded pilot certificate, acceptable picture identification, grade computation. 
Must be able to obtain TSA fingerprint clearance. Submission for TSA Clearances for International Candidates. Collection Various additional documentation as applicable such as visa's 1-20 form, FAA AFS-760-Letter-03 for verification of foreign license, transfer credit, Part 141 re-enrollment form, graduation certificates and ground training status form.  
Process Stage Check Request Card (SCRC) and Course withdrawals as needed. 
Must be able to obtain FAA Knowledge Test Proctor certification

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Microsoft Office applications including: excel, word, power point, outlook.
