About The Team
Murdoch Active offers sport and recreation programs, facilities, and services that promote health and well-being for students, staff, and the wider Murdoch University community. It also supports the University’s teaching, research, and commercial initiatives.
Its goal is to enhance the student experience, foster community engagement, and strengthen connections with the University through inclusive and representative activities.
Programs and services are delivered via the Fitness Centre, Sports and Recreation Hall, indoor/outdoor courts, and external playing fields.
Your New Role!
The Fitness and Wellbeing Coordinator supports the Sports and Recreation Manager in managing daily operations of Murdoch Active’s fitness facilities and wellbeing programs across campus. This role oversees a team of Sports Officers, Group Fitness Instructors, the WIL Lead, and student volunteers to plan, deliver, and develop programs aligned with the Murdoch Active Strategic Plan.

This Fixed Term (1 Year) |Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $89,396 – $96,594 (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
