As a GE Appliances Financial Analyst (Treasury), you will play a key role in assisting with the daily treasury operations of an $11-billion organization, ensuring the business has the liquidity and financial insight it needs to operate and grow. You will add value by forecasting cash flows across short, medium, and long-term horizons, developing and enhancing reporting and analytics packages for Executive Leadership, and identifying opportunities to elevate and streamline Corporate Treasury processes. How You'll Create Possibilities
- Assists with daily corporate cash management, liquidity monitoring, and execution of cash movements; supports and enhances cash flow forecasting in collaboration with Cash FP&A.
- Ensures timely and accurate processing of wire and ACH payments, including interest, tax obligations, and other time-sensitive liabilities.
- Administers banking platforms, bank accounts, and the Treasury workstation; supports implementation and updates of Oracle Cash Management/APEX.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to strengthen cash management efficiency, accuracy, controls, and cost effectiveness.
- Manages communications and coordination with lenders, including loan rollover notices and covenant reporting; tracks financial covenant metrics for ongoing compliance.
- Prepares monthly Last Day Estimate (LDE) schedules for interest and CFOA, reconciles related activity, and leads cross-functional LDE/CFOA review meetings with FP&A, Controllership, and Treasury.
- Produces the monthly Treasury KPI reporting package, including liquidity, CFOA, cash and debt positions, interest expense, and related metrics.
- Analyzes and reconciles GL cash to bank balances, partnering with Controllership and reconcilers to resolve variances and ensure accuracy.
- Develops, enhances, and maintains Excel-based treasury models to improve forecasting, analytics, and reporting.
- Assists in developing treasury risk mitigation strategies and supports internal and external audits through documentation and inquiry response.
- Monitors and reconciles AR inventory finance cash receipts; manages the weekly factoring analysis process and reconciles factoring outcomes to partner data.
- Tracks and reviews bank fees for cost-saving opportunities; manages monthly foreign currency rate reporting and commodity swap activity.
- Supports management of banking relationships, including operational needs, account maintenance, and rationalization efforts.
- Provides assistance to the Cash Applications team on lockbox and bank-related AR collection issues.

- Controllership & Risk Management: Identifies compliance gaps or anomalies in financial data, proactively addresses minor control issues, and supports risk mitigation efforts in collaboration with more senior team members.
Preferred Competencies
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP system, Treasury Workstations, and Banking Systems.
Educational and Experiential Background
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
- Integrates theoretical knowledge acquired through advanced education with practical experience to effectively navigate job responsibilities and challenges within the field.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Certified Treasury Professional designation (CTP).
