Job Summary

CONNAUGHT ELECTRONICS LIMITED is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Student/Intern to join our dynamic finance team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in various financial operations within a leading electronics company, supporting key functions and contributing to real-world projects.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations.
* Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliation.
* Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Participate in financial analysis projects, such as cost analysis and profitability assessments.
* Help with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
* Research and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
* Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department.

Job Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong academic record with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
* Prior experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus but not required.
