The Finance Specialist Associate will provide critical support in collections, accounts payable, and cash application to help maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely payments, and support the organization’s overall business objectives. This role is responsible for maintaining delinquency levels within established targets, processing supplier payments, and applying cash receipts. The position requires a strong focus on customer service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

YOUR IMPACT:  

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned:

  • Consistently follow up on delinquent accounts with emails and/or phone calls, escalating collection efforts to third-party agencies or legal when required.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers through clear communication and collaboration.

  • Generate and maintain weekly AR reports to track collection progress.

  • Provide support in Accounts Payable by processing vouchers and preparing checks.

  • Assist the Accounts Payable team with receiving, organizing, and managing supplier invoices.

  • Support Cash Application area by becoming proficient in various ERP systems and understanding cash application procedures.

  • Maintain files and computer-based records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Assist internal and external customers in answering questions on business transaction processing requirements and respond to inquiries.

  • Help maintain standard work instructions to document business transaction processing steps.

  • Apply continuous improvement management principles and participate in process analysis and improvement projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

                                                                                                                

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Understanding of basic financial and accounting concepts.

  • Basic understanding of accounting, payroll, or cash applications.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The following represents general working conditions for this office-based role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances. 

  • This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings. 

  • Duties are largely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone. 

  • Visual acuity to operate a computer and read documents is required, along with auditory ability to participate in virtual and in-person meetings. 

  • Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:

$35,900.00 - $54,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
