Purpose of the Role:

To lead the Finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic support to business operations.

Requirements:

Solid experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in a multinational environment.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Proficiency in finance systems and tools.

Ability to communicate effectively in English and Japanese.

Job Summary

Ensure accounting is managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant laws and standards, including tax regulations.
Ensure compliance with local legislation and regulations as well as Sandvik policies and processes.

Job Description:

Is responsible for developing the ways of working in the accounting areas
Review financial reports and accounting statements to ensure their accuracy

Analyzes and prepares statutory financial statements, tax returns and documents, and etc.

Provide and manage legal and compliance supports to functional and operational areas

Provide and manage general affair services to functional and operational areas

Provide technical expertise and advice to functional or operational areas to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports and tax implications
Performs and reviews internal controls
