We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance IT Solutions Project Manager to help drive delivery of Finance System Integrations. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between finance operations and IT systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of financial platforms. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can translate business needs into technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and IT, with a passion for driving true business transformation through technology, automation and process optimization.

Please note that this role is structured as an 18-month FTC. This is also a fully-remote role that can be based anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for finance systems integration initiatives globally.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, provide input to business cases and define project scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee system integration activities including infrastructure and capability definition, data migration, interface development, testing, cutover and project closure.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls throughout the integration delivery activity.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in finance systems and integration methodologies.
  • Ensure business SOPs and process flows are delivered and agreed with business prior to project closure.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Technology, or related field; Project Management certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing finance projects, preferably within global organizations.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems such as ERPs, Workday, Coda / Unit4 Financials, or similar platforms is desirable
  • Excellent project management skills with proficiency in tools like MS Project, ADO, or similar.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
