Finance Analyst III - Medicare

Position Purpose: With the Medicare Finance Mid-West Regional team, you will

support the Medicare Regional Finance Lead, who works closely with the Medicare Regional President and Market leadership. 

  • Participate in the monthly close process, preparing financial reports, researching variances from budget/forecast, and attending close calls with Corporate Finance and Markets.
  • Support the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process, assisting in medical trend research and document preparation for the presentation to Medicare Executives
  • Work with Medicare Product and Actuarial department associates to support the Medicare bid filing process with membership projections and use of the Product Strategy Tool. 
  • Additional ad hoc reporting requests or projects may also be assigned.
  • Handle complex and high level financial analysis
  • Present and discuss analysis with upper management

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of the Medicare product and related industry insights.

Possesses good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Director, VP, and potentially CEO-level stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and creating graphs/charts; experience with OneStream is highly desirable.

Demonstrates a willingness to ask questions and shows strong professional curiosity.

Exhibits flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year
