Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and statutory compliance. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

  • Perform and document SOX controls and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks, accounting policies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Audit.

  • Participate in statutory audits and coordinate with external auditors.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and automation of reporting tools.

  • Maintain documentation for accounting processes and controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/CMA (preferred but not mandatory).

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, or controllership.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Advanced Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a multinational or shared services environment.

  • Exposure to statutory reporting and audit processes.

  • Familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance.

  • Prior experience in the FMCH or FMCG industry.
