Job Overview:
The APS Safety FSE will be responsible for full cycle product safety support for our Scientific Instrument equipment(SI) and Purification Systems. This includes responsibility for safety of product start-up and commissioning, customer training, technical support and repairs and troubleshooting as well as set up. Other work would include conducting preventative maintenance service calls in the field while maintaining strong relationships with our clients. The safety FSE will regularly require assistance from more senior staff in order to meet position objectives.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Delivers customer safety service support and assistance to troubleshoot, repair and upgrade equipment during field visits. All Safety Service is also provided via phone or email as applicable.
Travel to customer's facilities as required (primarily domestic travel).
Wearing a proper PPE and full-mask and Tychem (if need)
Provide customer safety training training on Entegris SI equipment and gas purification products.
The ability to perform safe work during close inspection of potentially dangerous products (electrical wiring, hot surfaces, chemical and gas leaks, pressurized systems) is a must.
Provide support to global and domestic FSE (Field Service Engineer/Technician) peers.
Maintain proper documentation for all on-site field service support calls and any critical equipment information gathered via phone/email.
Create safety reports as required.
Provide detailed verbal and written feedback to Engineering, Quality and other departments as necessary.
Travel to domestic sites in support of routine work on site (PM, commissioning) for less complex product lines.
Traits/qualifications we believe make a strong candidate:
Technical, engineering or scientific degree or equivalent Safety field service experience required
FSE position: Field Safety Service Experience in Semiconductor site.
The ability to work both independently and as a team is required while communicating effectively to both internal and external customers.
Understanding of safety supervisor
Computer and communication skills.
Semiconductor industry experience a plus
Experience with product start-ups, repairs, upgrades, training, technical support and preventative maintenance a plus
Valid Passport required (to travel at various sites out of the Korea), and valid driver’s license
