What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Field Sales Representative with 10+ years of proven experience in Enterprise Software/IT Sales and Account Management to join our team in Seoul, South Korea. This role is within the Structures/AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owners) Department. The ideal candidate will be a veteran sales professional responsible for driving business growth, ensuring customer success, meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients. Deep knowledge of construction technologies, particularly BIM (Building Information Modeling) and SaaS solutions, is a significant advantage. 

Your job will include you executing strategies to grow market share and drive revenue within the South Korean construction market.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute strategic Sales Plans based on Trimble’s OKRs to drive significant revenue.

  • Revenue Generation: Prospect opportunities to existing customers and acquire new accounts (new logos) to ensure overall and region-wise sales targets are achieved.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Liaise closely with and maintain business relationships with existing corporate customers, focusing on cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and ensuring their ongoing success.

  • Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Be responsible for realistic sales forecasting, reporting sales funnels against performance, and maintaining a good pipeline of leads.

  • Product Expertise: Use your knowledge of construction technologies like BIM to understand customer needs and pitch our products as suitable solutions for their project design, planning, and execution.

  • Representation & Promotion: Perform software sales presentations, represent Trimble at relevant trade shows, and travel regularly to meet with customers and promote Trimble products and services.

  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including marketing and business leads, to design demand generation initiatives and prepare market analysis reports.

What Skills, Qualifications and Experience you should bring:

Along with your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, your self-motivated nature, and your desire to collaborate with other technical professionals local and global, you will also possess the following:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Sales and Account Management

    • Extensive experience in software or IT company sales or revenue-related roles.

    • Proven experience selling 3D – BIM / CAD / CAM / CNC / PLM applications.

    • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota.

  • Industry Knowledge (Added Advantage): Deep knowledge of the construction industry. Experience selling AEC, Civil, and Structural Steel software solutions is a strong plus.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to customer issues, understand customer workflows, and identify customer goals. Exemplary presentation and communication skills across all levels of an organization.

  • Strategic and Organizational: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills, a flexible mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Drive and Attitude: Result-oriented, goal-focused, and diligent attitude. Self-motivated nature and a desire to collaborate with other technical professionals local and global.

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a multicultural environment and develop good working relationships within the Trimble Group.

  • Language Proficiency & Technical skills:

    • Conversational level in English, both written and verbal.

    • Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce)

Information About Your Location

You will be primarily supporting our customers in South Korea and will be based in our Trimble office in Seoul. You will be working alongside the rest of our Korean team. Travel: Some travel is involved, meeting with your customers across South Korea.
