Field Project Engineer is expected to proactively support the Site team in disciplines related to Turbomachinery Equipment and is entitled to solve technical queries from Field Service Engineering pool operating within Installation and Commissioning activities. She/He is expected to cooperate actively with other teams to provide technical solution to site team. In case of need is also responsible for Customer contact. 

As a Field Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Being a technical reference point of contact for Engineering dept. in front of Customer in the phase from Installation of turbomachinery equipment to Commercial Operations.
  • Coordinating the resolution of the field technical problems and will work closely with Field Service engineering organization to overview the implementation of the identified solutions. 
  • Coordinating resolutions of non-conformities, identifying opportunities for Change Order, release of technical documentation in line with installation and commissioning processes.
  • Collaborating with design engineering organization to revise and release As-Built documentation.
  • Being a part of the Red Flag review process to guide and verify installation team activities completion and solve technical issues.
  • Managing technical verification of Technical Package of Installation and Commissioning documents.
  • Travelling (occasionally) to site and spend time with site team to streamline communication and speed up issues resolution. 
  • Mentoring employees.
  • Proactively searching for improvements in current processes.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electronics/Control/Materials).
  • Have previous experience in installation and commissioning of gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, turboexpanders, reciprocating compressors equipments.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors as well as being able to lead and navigate cross functional teams.
  • Have good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Be open to business travels (global destinations).
  • Be fluent in spoken/written English.
  • Have problem solving skills and technical reporting skills.
