MLJ Contracting is seeking a Field Engineer to support the rehabilitation of the Northbound Gold Star Bridge in New London, Connecticut. This high-profile infrastructure project involves complex steel reinforcement and repairs, deck replacement, and additional structural improvements to one of the region’s most critical transportation corridors.
A Field Engineer is assigned to an active project full time. Under the direction of the Project Manager and/or Project Engineers, staff assigned as Field Engineers will perform various tasks related to the planning, engineering, and monitoring of a project. The Field Engineer will be responsible for managing schedule, quality, change orders and engineering relating to specific packages, scopes or work areas.
