We are seeking a Field Competence Development Manager to lead technical and safety training initiatives that empower our field teams to deliver excellence. This is a strategic role where you’ll combine data-driven insights with innovative learning solutions to ensure our workforce is skilled, safe, and future-ready.
What will you be doing?
- Drive operational excellence in field competence development through data analytics and KPIs
- Manage Training Centers and optimise their utilisation to deliver impactful learning experiences
- Lead and develop an Australian and New Zealand network of full-time and part-time field trainers
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement continuous development strategies
- Evaluate training effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative data
- Oversee onboarding and technical training plans for new field employees
- Ensure compliance with global learning standards and contribute to field maturity assessments
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years’ experience in Learning & Development within a technical or field context
- Qualifications in engineering, safety, technical, or behavioral science preferred
- Experience leading a team of Learning & Development or Field Trainers
- Expertise in technical training, training center management, and apprenticeship programs.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of education principles, mentoring, and Learning Management Systems.
