Job Title:  Family Support Worker

Pay Rate: Up to £13.50

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Support Worker to join its client’s Family Residential Services team in Hendon. Become a Parenting Support Worker at a Family Residential Home, where you’ll help families facing complex challenges. This flexible, hands-on position includes evening and weekend shifts, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your professional growth.

What will your responsibilities be? 

  • Support parents to develop practical parenting and life skills
  • Help families manage day-to-day challenges such as finances, school attendance, and family issues
  • Work empathetically with complex families and young children
  • Ensure children’s care needs are fully met and they thrive in education
  • Collaborate with professionals to improve outcomes for families

Essential:

  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development

Desirable:

  • Level 3 qualification in early years, social care, or related fields
  • Accredited training in evidence-based parenting programmes (e.g., Triple P, Webster Stratton)
  • Qualifications in interventions such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, or Multi-Systemic Therapy
