The Opportunity
Join CSL Melbourne as Manager – Facility Support Services, leading critical operational and facility support for our Pilot Scale Facility and R&D Labs.
Reporting to the Director, Building Operations & Services, you will manage a diverse team and outsourced partners to ensure seamless delivery of facility support services in a highly regulated R&D environment.
The Role
Lead and manage Facility Support Services teams, including an outsourced team, across Central Preparation Area (CPA) Wash, CPA Solution Preparation, and Clinical Protein Suite support functions
Implement and maintain core CPA and CPS support procedures, ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP and audit readiness (OGTR/TGA).
Oversee solution preparation, glassware washing, consumables kitting, and indirect materials procurement for the facility
Drive change control, deviation investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational efficiency
Develop and implement an indirect materials ordering system and manage inventory movement in collaboration with warehouse teams.
Monitor KPIs, manage performance, and foster a culture aligned with CSL values
Your Skills and Experience
Minimum 6+ years in operations or manufacturing within a regulated environment (pharma, food, or healthcare preferred)
Proven experience managing teams, including outsourced or contingent staff
Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines.
Expertise in change control, deviation management, and technical documentation
Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management systems
