SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Lead preparation for operational phase of new facility with associated installations, testing, commissioning and ensuring transition to permanent operations. Drive completion of remaining work/outstanding punches with project manager as listed at Gate 5.

Manage, lead and further develop the organization by delivering facility services to all employees, meeting budgets and other objectivities set out for the admin building and R&D operations. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to both internal and external stakeholders. Manage various modification projects.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with local government agencies, fire marshals, building inspectors, and other regulatory officers to meet Malaysia regulation requirements.

Play an active role in developing and managing contracts and relationships with service partners.

Responsibilities:

Organize, lead and develop the department by preparing, implementing and following up plans for completion and operation.

Follow up and control costs in relation to frameworks that ensure that the department contributes to Jotun's goals for the new Facility meeting HSEQ standards/requirements

Establish and maintain collaboration with "owners" and users across the organization, so that the facility is developed and used safely and efficiently.

Enter into agreements with external companies for the purchase of services, equipment and spare parts for completion and optimal utilization of the fixed assets.
