Facilities Senior Engineer

About the role:

  • Responsible & accountable for the mechanical project management, coordination, estimation, implementation, executive, control, and on-time completion aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization

What you will do:

  • Responsibility is for the mechanical estimates, consolidation, coordination to purchasing for the bidding process, awarding, execution, invoicing, & project turnover or closure.

  • Responsible in coordination & alignment to IE & other department for the sequential implementation to complete the project on-time & cost-efficient through Value Engineering.

  • Coordinate with contractors (external projects) that all work is done in accordance with the design specifications, existing standards & other related requirements.

  • Progress Monitoring & management of projects.

  • Ensure compliance related to government required such as PEZA & govt/ bodies.

  • Assures all construction activities are compliant with EHS standards & other management system.

  • Support other departments & within facilities grp. for project improvements in planning & execution.

What you will need:

 

  • Knowledge in Mechanical assessment inside & outside area, &

  • Project management.

  • Negotiation Skills

  • Design competency on Mechanical Systems

  • Can read and understand mechanical As-Built diagrams and designs.

  • Critical Thinking skills.

  • Cost Analysis.

  • Materials Planning

  • Knowledge in Autocad

  • BS Electrical Engineering Graduate. Licensed Engineer is preferred.

  • At least 1-5 years' experience related to project management in Manufacturing Industry.
