Facilities Patrol Guard
$16.66-$19.99 minimum starting pay
Job Level: Individual Contributor
Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
What You Will Be Doing:
Provide 24/7 coverage at the corporate office and maintain a safe, secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Monitor access points, patrol the premises, respond to incidents and alarms, and enforce company safety and security policies using clear communication and a customer-focused approach.

- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency response
- Ability to operate and access control systems
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
- Time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation

- While the main schedule of the Facilities Patrol Guard will follow Shelter's "1st Shift" guidelines, with shifts varying from 7 AM to 6 PM, there may be times where Patrol Guards will have to work specific holidays, based on coverage needs
