The Precision Tooling (PT) Department is based in Sydney and forms a part of the Global Supply Chain Engineering function.
Within the Precision Tooling Department, we are working to deliver high quality LSR injection moulds and automation to our internal customers using the latest industrial technology.
The Facilities Coordinator is a diverse, hands-on role responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Precision Tooling site. This position is central to maintaining workflow efficiency, managing logistics, and ensuring a safe and functional facility. The role balances key responsibilities across logistics (receiving/dispatch), inventory control, facilities coordination, and administrative support.
Manage all receiving and dispatch operations for the facility, including the safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jack, overhead gantry & jib cranes.
Ensure the effective receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of high-value equipment and moulds, adhering to all ResMed Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
Conduct pickups and deliveries to other Sydney-based sites.
Manage and maintain all consumable inventory levels, processing order requisitions to prevent shortages.
Prepare, package, and issue Bill of Material (BOM) kits for the toolmaking team, ensuring all components are accurately gathered.
Serve as the primary point of contact for facilities support, working alongside the Resmed Facilities team to manage contractors on-site.
Log and monitor facility issues in our management systems.
Perform general facility maintenance, basic handyman repairs, and related tasks (e.g., managing swarf bins) to maintain a clean, safe, and operational environment.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams and support colleagues in other departments.
Provide administrative support to the toolroom operations as required.
Actively uphold and promote site safety, ensuring compliance with all policies.
Qualifications and Experience
Required
Vocational training or equivalent practical experience.
Valid Class C Driver's License.
Valid Forklift License (LF).
Desirable
A background in manufacturing or a relevant trade is highly advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a logistics, coordination, or toolroom role.
First Aid certification.
Licensing for Overhead Crane and/or Basic Rigging/Dogging.
