Assists fitters and welders carry out their duties in the manufacture and assembly of ASME code pressure vessels, FCCU fabrication, job shop projects, etc. Grinds surface of welds upon completion of welding processes. Assists forklift drivers in transporting materials and work in process with Fabrication Shop. Cleans Fabrication Shop and Yard to maintain appearance and safety. Tack welds and hand burns parts as required. Operates overhead cranes and forklift trucks, sandblasts and paints parts are required. Prepares projects for hydro testing and hydro tests per customer requirements.
