VCA McClave Animal Hospital located in Reseda, Ca is looking for an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our 8 Doctor Practice!
We are looking for experienced (3 year minimum) Veterinary Assistants to provide excellent patient care (both preventative & urgent care). Veterinary Assistants are responsible for assisting the doctors and providing care for the patients hospitalized in the treatment area.
Schedule: Full-time- 40 hours (5/8 hour shifts)
Compensation starts at $22-26/hr and is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials.

As a member of the VCA McClave team, you will support the Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. The skills that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:
Restraining and assisting in patient exams and routine procedures.
Taking detailed medical histories and patient vitals.
Filling prescriptions (as allowed by law).
Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
Providing compassionate care for our hospitalized animals.
Maintaining medical records.
Providing treatments and performing diagnostics as directed by DVM
Maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.
