The opportunity
We’re seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support two senior leaders at the forefront of QBE’s global risk strategy. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic, fast-paced environment, partnering with leaders who shape enterprise and financial risk management across the business.
Your new role
In this role, you’ll be instrumental in optimising the time and effectiveness of the Chief Enterprise Risk Officer and Group Head of Financial Risk Management. You’ll manage deliverables, inputs, and timelines, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and oversee diary and travel arrangements.
You’ll be a trusted partner to agile and fast-moving leaders, working closely with the Risk Leadership Team to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support while maintaining the utmost discretion.
Duties Include
Liaising with a broad network of senior executives, committees, and external stakeholders.
Anticipating deliverables and ensuring both leaders are equipped to meet commitments.
Preparing and coordinating confidential correspondence, presentations, and reports.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.
Building strong relationships across the Risk function and wider business.
Managing cost centre budgets and financial processes, including invoicing.
Acting as a key point of contact for team processes, onboarding, and induction support.
Navigating multiple time zones and divisions with ease and professionalism.
Planning and executing team events to foster engagement and celebrate milestones.
About you
At the core of this role is the ability to foster trust, collaboration, and connection. You’ll be a proactive partner to senior leaders, anticipating needs and ensuring time is used effectively.
We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly organised, resilient, and experienced in supporting C-suite executives.
Tech-savvy and able to leverage digital tools to improve workflows.
Professionally presented with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and maintain discretion.
Detail-oriented with exceptional administrative and organisational skills.
Comfortable liaising at executive levels and performing under pressure.
