Base salary will be in the range $82,133 - $91,295 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5)
Based at the picturesque St Lucia Campus
We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the effective and efficient operations of the Governance and Risk Division - where no 2 days are the same. In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative services to functions and teams across the Governance and Risk Division, and specifically the Governance and Policy team.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Division and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes initiative, and enjoys working collaboratively to support the University’s commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Coordinating the division’s activities – across team meetings, strategy days, culture, records management, health safety and wellness, mandatory training, professional development, onboarding new team members.
Providing support to the Governance and Policy team – in relation to management of our policy and procedures library, project delivery, elections and support to Senate committees and Boards
Overseeing the flow of information and day-to-day administrative operations within the Governance and Risk Division, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Coordinating financial processes, including reimbursements, expense management, and payment approvals in line with University policies.

Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in providing high-level administrative support.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including discretion in handling sensitive matters.
Experience managing diaries, correspondence, and stakeholder relationships in a complex environment.
Experience servicing committees or a demonstrable aptitude to acquire this skill.
A commitment to customer service and building positive workplace relationships.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia.
