The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of BDS Software Engineering (BDS SWE) in Seal Beach, CA. 

  

The ideal candidate has experience supporting executives, possesses a high degree of professionalism and discretion, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possesses the unique ability to build rapport with key partners and stakeholders. The selected candidate will be a team player, proactive and have the capability to adjust priorities effectively. 

 

Position Responsibilities:  

 

  • Manages the Vice President’s schedule and calendar 

  • Prioritizes, manages and schedules time and availability for most efficient use of time 

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal customers, external customers, co-workers and peers

  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information and while working under tight and often competing deadlines 

  • Processes and screens incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information 

  • Coordinates domestic and international business travel, monitors traveler logistics, generates expense reports, and reconciles corporate credit card charges to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement 

  • Assists in planning, coordinating, and implementing logistics for visiting Boeing senior executives  

  • Creates, edits, and maintains electronic and written communication 

  • Coordinates with the appropriate focal(s) to support the acquisition and maintenance of resources 

  • Orders and maintains office supplies 

  • Promotes teamwork and value-added ideas to management and administrative staff 

  • Works under minimal supervision 

 

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):  

  • 5+ years of experience developing and/or maintaining integrated schedules 

  • 5+ years of experience providing administrative support to multiple customers such as executives, managers, and staff members

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint 

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating and processing domestic and/or international travel arrangements 

  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher 

  • 5+ years of experience supporting C-Suite Executives  

  • 5+ years of experience in partnering with executives to help develop and manage the operating rhythm/cadence for executive leadership teams 

  • 3+ years of experience with Concur or a similar travel and expense management program 

  • Effective written and verbal communication across global audiences 

  • Adept in functioning as a liaison between senior executives and key partners as well as superior work prioritization, organizational and multi-tasking skills 

  • Strong relationship building and teaming skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.   

 

Summary pay range for Senior Level: $68,850 - $93,150
