This is where you come in!  

Your role is to develop a deep understanding of our community and their needs and behaviours – helping shape a product that connects with our community and brings value in the context that they operate in. You will be the dedicated UX researcher role in our product team – so you’ll be setting the culture and practice of UX research! We need someone with a willingness to advocate not just for the community, but for bringing research practices into our product processes and the value it can bring to us.

(Some of) What you'll do.

  • Champion our users. You'll advocate for their needs and turning insights into meaningful product decisions.

  • Plan and run a variety of research studies, including interviews, field studies, usability testing, surveys and more.

  • Recruit and engage participants, building rapport to uncover honest thoughts, emotions and behaviours.

  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations that guide product strategy and design.

  • Create artefacts like personas, journey maps and insight summaries to build shared understanding across teams.

  • Present your insights to stakeholders and influence decision-making at every level.

  • Own and prioritise the research roadmap, balancing strategic initiatives with project-based needs.

  • Help grow UX research capability across the business by guiding teams, sharing best practices and establishing a research repository.

What you'll bring.

  • 7+ years’ experience (ideally including SaaS) with a strong, demonstrable portfolio.

  • Builds and maintains outcomes-focused research operations and communities of practice.

  • Coaches and mentors colleagues in UX research craft.

  • Delivers high-quality generative, discovery and validation research with pragmatic, evidence-based insights.

  • Designs robust, bias-aware studies using a range of quant/ qual methods.

  • Translates complex behaviours and systems into clear, actionable insights that shape strategy and roadmaps.

  • Tells compelling user stories that build empathy and influence stakeholders.

  • Sees across complex systems and identifies cross-product value opportunities.

  • Brings a growth mindset and humility.
