We are looking for a System Engineer to focus on our BoldGroup corporate and cloud infrastructure. The BoldGroup Infrastructure team is focused on providing world-class support to all customers and employees. We support various technology platforms to enable flexibility as business needs evolve. The team primarily supports infrastructure on the AWS, VMware and Hyper-V platforms.

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our organization's IT infrastructure. You will work with a team of systems engineers, oversee system maintenance, and contribute to the ongoing operations of our IT systems. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of technical & project management tasks, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and meet the evolving needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Manitou Cloud Solutions and Services.

  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Address complex technical issues and provide guidance to your team in troubleshooting and resolving system-related problems.

  • Diagnosis, research and analyze client issues and requests.

  • Assist with systems troubleshooting via both phone and email.

  • Backup Administration and disaster recovery support.

  • Domain and user administration.

  • Firewall and network administration for physical and virtual networks.

  • Software and systems implementation of new projects

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT teams, support personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems. Communicate effectively with end-users to gather requirements and address concerns.

  • IT Infrastructure Planning: Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business goals and future growth.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Experience working in a datacenter environment 2 – 4 Years

  • Experience with SQL Server Administration 1 - 2 Years

  • Experience with VMware 2 – 4 Years

  • Experience with AWS  1 - 2 years

  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues 2 – 4 Years

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of system security, cloud computing, virtualization, and networking.

  • Strong written, verbal, and organization skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows networking

  • Proficiency with Windows Sever 16/19/22 and Window 10/11

  • Superior time management and prioritization skills

  • Candidate must be a team player, have a high energy level and be self-motivated

  • Can use good judgment to solve problems where protocol might not exist

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role will frequently travel to our Mequon Wisconsin Datacenter, in combination with working remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 USD per hour/year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
