Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated European Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth for our strategic vendor technology portfolio across Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and exceeding revenue targets for solutions and services in their assigned portfolio.
About the Role
This position plays a pivotal role in translating vendor growth strategies into actionable plans across multiple European markets. You will work closely with internal sales teams, marketing, and technical specialists to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach, while building strong relationships with vendors, partners, and enterprise customers.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand TD SYNNEX’s market share for assigned vendor products and services across Europe.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners and customers within the European region.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors, key partners, and enterprise customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales teams, technical specialists, and marketing departments to deliver effective go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, competitive landscapes, and emerging technology trends.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to prospective clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
- Provide regular forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting on sales activities and progress against targets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments, certifications, and industry best practices.
- Represent TD SYNNEX at industry events, conferences, and partner forums across Europe.
- Travel frequently throughout Europe to meet with partners, customers, and vendor representatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or channel management within the IT distribution or technology industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of vendor products, solutions, and competitive landscapes.
- Established network of contacts within the IT channel and enterprise customer base across Europe.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in other major European languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed, cross-functional team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Europe (up to 50–70% of the time).
- Relevant vendor or industry certifications are highly desirable.
