Job Description

The purpose of this role will be to support the business continuity work related to the European supply chain processes. Allowing the business to be more resilient and better prepared if a continuity event was to occur. Moreover, enabling Brambles to respond and to recover.

Brambles is implementing a Global Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework and IT system aligned to ISO22301:2019. The strategy covers the businesses processes end to end.

This position will be working on all European Service Centres and Office Spaces related to Supply Chain:

  • Project delivery

  • Implementation of business continuity plans and recorded in system

  • Implementation of crisis management process

  • Implementation of maintenance, review and testing of plans

  • Delivery of appropriate tools to support the work stream

Key Responsibilities:

Overall support for leading, championing the business continuity strategy for the agreed areas of the European supply chain. This will include:

  • Communicate with stakeholders proactively throughout the project to gather input, keep them updated on deadlines, and coordinate with other teams.

  • Ensure the purpose and vision is clearly communicated to the stakeholders involved.

  • Attend and participate on the European Business Continuity Working Group meeting.

  • First phase will focus on completing Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment (RA).

  • Second phase will focus on the determining of priorities and development of a roadmap through analysis of the first phase results.

  • The third phase will then look to deliver business continuity plans for the identified priorities, building of crisis management capability, development of the maintenance, review, and testing processes.

As part of the second and third phase the role will need to scope what current or future tools will be able to support the goals of the initiative.

Experience:

  • Change management experience.

  • Good communication skills with superiors and in more than 1 language.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and influencing others, it is required to work together with other members from various regions and areas.

  • Agile project management experience.

  • Supply Chain background is an advantage.

  • Experience in an international office environment is a plus.

  • Experience in data analyst is desirable.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of business metrics.

  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.

  • Strong communication & Interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation skills).

  • Stakeholder management.

  • Strong time/project management and delivery skills.

  • Resilience, perseverance, and drive to problem-solve.

  • Knowledge about Supply Chain processes in place across Europe as well as existing systems (SAP, Blueyonder, Blueview...).

  • Technical skills to implement process measurement systems (Excel, Power BI...).


Languages:

  • English.

  • Spanish would be a plus.
