Role Overview: The Stewardship and Sustainable Investing (SSI) Operations and Marketing Analyst will support both the creation of high-quality SSI marketing materials and the operational backbone that enables the SSI Group to deliver for clients. Reporting to the SSI Operations Director, the role partners with Marketing to define SSI messaging and content strategy and drives execution. The Analyst will partner with investment teams and sales to better understand client needs and improve external and internal communication. In parallel, the Analyst will collaborate with operating platform functions (Technology, Data, Client Reporting, RFP/DDQ, Business Enablement) to improve the effectiveness and scalability of key processes to enable better outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing, Reporting & Communications
• Marketing Strategy Partnership: Partner with Marketing to define SSI messaging and marketing strategy, and to oversee and coordinate the development of SSI content and materials at both the investment product level and firm level. Work with Marketing to develop an annual content calendar and oversee its delivery.
• Content Execution: Undertake the drafting and iterative editing of key SSI content for both specific investment products and at the firm level. Ensure content is aligned to overall SSI messaging and adheres to relevant policies, regulations, and client needs. Support approval process with Legal & Compliance.
• Firm-Level Reporting: Contribute to the preparation and delivery of firm-level stewardship and sustainability reports (e.g., TCFD, PRI, CSRD), including data collection and consistency checks. Coordinate with Legal & Compliance to ensure alignment with regulatory and industry standards.
• Supporting Client Engagement: Assist the SSI Group with client-facing activities, including RFP and DDQ responses, handling client queries, coordinating surveys, and preparing ad hoc presentations and materials.
Operations & Strategic Enablement
• Operating Platform Partnership: Support the SSI Operations Director in representing the group’s needs to key operating functions including Technology, Data, Client Reporting, RFP/DDQ, Business Enablement, and Marketing. Document SSI Group’s requirements, collect key stakeholder input (e.g., Sales), and work collaboratively with operating functions to propose process improvements. Act as project manager for implementation of key process improvements in conjunction with Business Enablement.
• Strategic Planning: In close collaboration with the Global Head of SSI, support the development of the SSI annual strategy by conducting analysis, collecting input from key stakeholders and drafting the strategy presentation. Assist in the annual budget process linked to the SSI strategy.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in asset management, financial services and/or consulting, with exposure to operations, marketing operations, and/or client reporting. Stewardship and Sustainable Investing experience preferred.
• Ownership, problem-solving, and growth mindset; proactive, self-driven, and collaborative team player.
• Analytical creativity, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail; quantitative skills and ability to leverage data for narrative development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to generate ESG content and digital communications.
• Ability to synthesize feedback, build internal networks, influence senior leaders, and move projects forward.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines; strong organizational and project management skills.
• Interest in continuous learning (e.g., CFA Charterholder pathway).
• Familiarity with sustainability regulations and reporting frameworks (e.g., SFDR, CSRD, TCFD, UK SDR, PRI) and their implications for product and firm-level communications.
• Familiarity with ESG data services and rating agencies (e.g., MSCI, Morningstar Sustainalytics, S&P Trucost), including data structures, methodologies, and common use cases in reporting and marketing.
