Adheres to Corporate Compliance Guidelines
Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with Hospital Safety and Infection Control policies as required by OSHA and the patient Safety Program
Demonstrates essential knowledge and skills when performing/assisting in procedures and treatments.
Performs vital signs on admission and at least every 2 hours, or as directed by RN. Documents on EMR and reports results to RN.
Set up low flow O2 by nasal cannula (no application of oxygen)
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Phlebotomy proficiency preferred, successful completion of phlebotomy training with six (6) months of hire.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
Minimum one (1) year experience in a clinical setting. Current BCLS required (through American Heart Association, BLCS provided
