The Role:
As an Enterprise Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in acquiring, expanding, and managing named enterprise and mid-market accounts. This position is vital for our data management and analytics segment and requires strategic enterprise selling to drive new sales and expand existing accounts.

What you will be doing:

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while ensuring successful customer retention & satisfaction.
  • Build and execute against complex, enterprise-wide sales cycles. Effectively present Pentaho's value proposition to C-level executives and business leaders.
  • Conduct sales both in-person and virtually across multiple industries.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to develop a strategic territory and account plan to maintain a robust pipeline and exceed booking targets.
  • Leverage Channel Partners to maximize efforts and build a strong network of resources for our customers.
  • Coordinate team selling efforts with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product and various SMEs across the Pentaho team.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Clari to manage and update pipeline activities.

What You Bring:

  • Over 8 years of experience in quota-carrying software sales into large enterprises.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Experience in selling business applications or software platforms, particularly in data management, analytics, ETL, and Big Data.
  • Proven ability to build and present an ROI/business case for high level executives.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and be proactive.

As required by the Equal Pay and Transparency Acts, the expected base salary for this position is up to $250k OTE

 Expected pay is determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
