About the position

Chevron ENGINE has an exciting opportunity for Enterprise Performance Insights Specialist to join the ENGINE Innovation team; this role will be based in Chevron’s office in Bengaluru.

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.

The Enterprise Performance Insights Specialist operates and maintains critical performance systems and enterprise reporting mechanisms, to ensure decision-quality information availability for all stakeholders. This includes periodic refresh and maintenance of enterprise performance tools, planning space models and application of disciplined financial analysis to translate system outputs into clear insights that support planning, benchmarking, and performance management. The role will involve collaboration with global users, database owners and system modelers to uphold reliability and quality of enterprise tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain critical performance system and reporting mechanisms (e.g., Enterprise

  • Performance Tool, Planning Space) that create visibility for leaders and teams across the steps of the performance cycle, including how Chevron compares versus peers, expected performance, top initiatives, and bottom-line value tracking

  • Ensures that valuable insights are readily available to enable the organization to take action to drive performance

  • Build and manage standardized templates for calculation logic and reconciliations that support benchmarking, target-setting, and performance

  • Apply core financial analysis (driver-based forecasting, variance/waterfall, sensitivity analysis) to contextualize data outputs for business users

  • Collaborate with database owners and front-end teams to develop new operational metrics and management reports, to create clear “so-what” narratives using enterprise visualization tools

  • Coordinate with global counterparts to harmonize processes, business definitions and assumptions across regions

  • Facilitate walk-throughs and training for end users; document how-to guides and change notes to drive adoption

  • Align best practices with enterprise IT and auditing requirements, ensuring data reliability

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 3 - 6 years of operating enterprise planning/performance systems (e.g., Planning Space, EPM/Performance tools)

  • Hands-on experience with refreshing and maintaining enterprise performance tools

  • Strong skills in financial analysis with ability to translate outputs into business recommendations

  • Proficiency with enterprise reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI and data tools such as SQLs, Python

  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management across wide geographies

  • Demonstrated ability to critically sense-check modeling outputs, identify nuances or data anomalies, and proactively chase down detailed questions to not only recommend what actions to take, but also how to resolve underlying issues
