Develop and maintain enterprise-wide technology architecture that supports strategic and clinical objectives.
Provide subject matter expertise and leadership across infrastructure, cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, telephony, end-user management, and systems integration.
Lead the creation and governance of architecture standards, reference models, roadmaps, and frameworks to ensure interoperability, security, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into architectural solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to guide strategic planning and innovation.
Oversee the design and implementation of hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) and ensure seamless integration with on-premises systems.
Direct network architecture and security design to ensure high availability, resilience, and compliance with privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
Lead efforts to standardize and modernize telephony and collaboration platforms across the organization.
Provide guidance and review for solution design to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and standards.
Work closely with cybersecurity, applications, clinical systems, and operations teams to ensure technology architecture supports all regulatory and performance requirements.
Develop and maintain technology blueprints, architectural diagrams, and documentation.
Participate in vendor selection, technical evaluations, and contract reviews for infrastructure and technology platforms.
Serve as an escalation point for technical architecture issues and complex problem-solving.
Additional Job Description:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, networking, or end-user computing.
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and design principles.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Active Directory, M365, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
Experience with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN), firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and telephony platforms (VoIP, UCaaS).
Demonstrated experience with security principles, compliance standards (HIPAA, NIST, etc.), and disaster recovery planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; master’s preferred.
