Information about the position

The domain you are applying into is Revenue. Revenue domain focuses on acting as a one-stop shop for all pricing and revenue decisions at Vinted marketplace.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join one of our Product Engineering teams within the domain focusing on Pricing & Value Added Services. Your main responsibility will be technical excellence, people leadership and delivery management. And, of course, making sure your team contributes to our company vision of making second-hand the first choice.

You’ll lead the team that builds and evolves the capabilities powering our core services. This includes Escrow Services, Value Services, and Benefits for Vinted platform members (such as discounts, vouchers, and subsidies). You'll ensure we deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions that directly impact Vinted’s marketplace, member experience, and long-term business sustainability.

In this position, you’ll

Lead and support your team of 7-8 engineers. Focus on their professional and personal development to ensure high team performance
Partner with product, design, data and business leaders to shape roadmaps and ensure engineering priorities support company growth
Establish high standards for architecture, quality, security, and scalability. Encourage innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement in team
Build a resilient, innovative team that balances technical excellence with a strong sense of purpose. Encourage autonomy, accountability, and continuous learning while cultivating a culture that celebrates both achievement and growth
Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from planning to release, ensure engineering teams deliver with focus and accountability, turning strategy into tangible results while adapting to changing priorities and market needs

About you

Proven experience leading a software engineering team and delivering the outcomes
Know how to make teams effective, manage scopes and deliverables
Have experience building team & hiring new team members
You possess strong people management skills - have experience ensuring development of team members
Solid proficiency in communicating with both technical and management levels
Able to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English

The salary range for this position is € 6,258 - € 8,475 gross per month.
