As Crew Tech Lead for Payments Channels & Reporting, you’ll play a pivotal role in a once-in-a-generation transformation, moving from Digital-First to AI-First and redefining customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

Partnering with the Payments Channels & Reporting Crew Lead to deliver exceptional outcomes for our business stakeholders and customers you’ll:

  • Define and deliver the team’s technology strategy and architecture
  • Own and execute an ambitious tech roadmap to realise the vision
  • Lead transformational change in Payments, shifting from Digital-First to AI-First
  • Drive AI-powered engineering and human-centred design for brilliant customer outcomes
  • Build and lead high-performing teams, partnering with the business to create lasting value
  • Apply emerging technology, leading engineering practices ensuring the build of secure, reliable systems at high velocity

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

Are seasoned hands-on Technology Leader’s with deep engineering expertise, a passion building complex, scalable systems, who enjoy leading teams through challenging builds.

  • Build and run customer experience platforms/channels including mobile, online and API, while incorporating AI engineering tools such as Claude Code, Roo & Cline.
  • Are accountable for tech assets ensuring systems are reliable, secure and perform at scale.  
  • Experts in architecting and engineering cloud native (AWS), microservice based solutions.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and learning.
  • Use emerging tech as a key part of modern engineering practices to deliver both efficiency and new customer propositions.
  • Define and execute a workforce strategy and manage the associated financials.
  • Operate in a mature full cycle environment, driving CI/CD workflow automation.
