What you will do:
Coordinate and supervise the maintenance and repair of hospital facilities, equipment, and systems.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and safety of all equipment.
Manage engineering projects, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve facility-related issues.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the engineering department.
Provide training and support to engineering staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Monitor and manage the department's budget and resources effectively.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or engineering, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and communicate effectively.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards applicable to healthcare facilities.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with occasional on-call responsibilities.
May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
