Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer for the Sentinel Systems Engineer position(s) located in Chandler, AZ. 

The Associate Systems Engineer will join the Sentinel SEIT Team, and be responsible for performing tasking as assigned by their respective Lead.  Tasking may include requirements capture in DOORS, CAMEO modeling, and support for other systems engineering documentation.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement the refinement and documentation of system, subsystem and component requirements, and capabilities to support the Sentinel program

  • Ensure the requirements are captured in DOORS, and are consistent with the CAMEO Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Model

  • Revise, and manage interface definitions

  • Expedite documents through approvals

  • May support risk management activities

  • May support SDRL development and deliveries

  • Support system design, analyses, requirements verification activities 

  • Support Systems Compliance with assorted and varied compliance activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 0 years of related engineering experience

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Interim US DoD Secret security clearance, or higher is required at the time of application - work is performed in a closed area full time (100% onsite / 100% Closed area)

  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical, and nontechnical personnel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active US DoD Secret security clearance

  • MBSE experience (Cameo or similar)

  • Requirements Decomposition experience required

  • DOORS or other requirements Management Experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
